The number of scrap tires discarded worldwide is increasing annually. Stockpiling these not a viable option due to environmental concerns and space limitations. Landfilling likewise unacceptable permitted in many areas. Recycling the best alternative. Shredding create product known as tire-derived aggregate (TDA) one most environmentally friendly methods recycling tires. In past few decades, TDA TDA-soil mixtures have been used increasingly civil engineering projects. Nevertheless, only limited research has so far conducted on mixed with soil. addition, majority focused particles that do steel wires are small size. present research, triaxial tests were performed various sand or gravel. Each sample was subjected three different confining pressures. results presented discussed, empirical equations proposed match laboratory results.
